The former Cherry Orchard schoolboy made 31 apps. for Notts. County between ’03-’05. Moved on to Virginia Beach Mariners in the USA for whom he made 6 apps. during 2006. Signed for UCD as a 20-year old in March ’07, and rapidly established a reputation as one of the finest midfielders in the country.Signed for Brighton & Hove Albion following the 2007 season after a brief spell on loan with Scunthorpe. Returned to the Students' ranks in June 2008.
