John McGuinness

Played schoolboy football with Lourdes Celtic, then joined Kilkenny City when Pat Scully was boss there in 2005. Followed Scully to Shamrock Rovers and was No.2 to Barry Murphy for the 2006 campaign. In 2007 he returned on loan to Buckley Park, making 17 starts for the Cats before his recall to the Hoops in July of the same season. He was released by Rovers following the 2007 campaign, but subsequently joined Shelbourne in February 2008 before eventually ending up at Longford Town before the season's end.
